Default Front axle shaft nut and headlights

Hi all, this is my first post, just joined.

Does anyone know the size of the socket needed to remove the nut on the front axle shaft on a '95? Need to replace the wheel bearings.

Also, can the headlight assemblies from the newer cars that have the clear glass in the headlights be put into a '95 with no modification? Seems like that would allow more light to come through the headlights than the '95 allows with it'* whitish colored glass. Thanks.

Dave

Not sure on the hub/bearing. I know the rear is a T-50.

No go on the headlights. Not unless you want to change the hood, fenders, and some mounting.

Welcome!

Thanks for the reply willwren, but that'* not what I'm looking for. The nut I'm talking about is the large hex nut that screws onto the end of the axle shaft where the axle comes through the hub assembly. I have a 30mm socket that is too small, and a 36mm socket that is too big, so it'* somewhere between those two sizes.

This isn't really gonna help but--On my 89 I had to do the complete cv joint--and I had to buy a special socket to get the nut off. I can't find it right now for the size but I did have to get it--cost me like $20 US.
