I warped 3 sets of rotors on my 2000 GTP, I can tell you exactly when I warped each set! I had the stock set, a set of PowerSlots (12") and a set of AC Delco (12").

More or less though, on each occaission, it was a question of slowing from about 100 mph to about 50 mph at a very rapid rate that did it.

As far as I'm concerned, the rotors are disposable so I now buy accordingly.

Cheers,

My factory rotors were terrible. Bought Autospecialty'* cross drilled rotors and haven't had a problem since. Also put on ceramic pads. Originals had about 20,000 on them before I got around to changing them.
