Is it possible to custom make or install a cabin filter in the 92-99 trims?

I've been using the Fram CF8804 cabin air filters, they seem to be excellent. They come with support frames & retainer clips also. Auto Barn.com has them priced at $31.46 per unit. What is the GM cost again in U.*. dollars?

GM'* is $32.36 plus shipping via gmpartsdirect.com.

Fram sounds like the way to go. As long as you can find it and get it. I didn't ever look at the autobarn.com.

Anyhow, don't need the retainer clip. In fact, without the retainer clip and using a small tie strap, you are able to push the filter a little more down into the hole. Seems like it would seal it off better.

I HAVE PICS. Reply or PM me and I'll send them. Wish this forum could host photo'*.. Oh well.
could you send me some pics on how your holding down the filter, its just in there and pictures would be helpful thanks, email is chasmanz28@dejazzd.com
