I know that there is less dust in the cabin with the filter. If there isn't enough charcoal to actually neutralize odors, then I'll probably just be putting the AC Delco filter from the dealer back in. Thanks for the heads up.

It should come with one, but it'* best to look if there is a filter in it. Also, the filter should be changed once a year to keep it fresh in your cabin.

It'* below the windshield on the passenger side. There is a cover to remove then you can pull out the filter to check it. You will need to open your hood first to mess with it.

Really? They aren't that good? Wow, the price is two or three times higher than the standard ones. You'd think that they would be a lot better!

I don't really know the difference. I've only ever had the carbon impregnated ones, and never tried a regular one.
My next change is due in about 6000 kms. Lasts me three years based on my mileage.

I know this has been beaten into the ground, but does the filter from fram or from the auto parts place come with the bracket? cause some moron before me ripped the filyer out of the bracket, left it in the car and stuffed a normal air filter in it.

The Fram CF8804 comes complete with plastic support frame, if that'* what you're asking.
