A/C Problem
Hi,
Driving home this afternoon I put my A/C in recirculate and after about 30 seconds it sounded almost as if the A/C had sucked something in and gotten stuck. It started making a loud low pitch whining noise, and when you turn the A/C off it sounds like the fan is hitting something, as if you would stick your hand in a ceiling fan.
Does anyone have any suggestions. How can I get in there to see if something is stuck?
Thanks & God Bless,
Travis

Travis, If you remove the cabin air filter cover & the cabin air filter (if you have one) and look down into the blower compartment you'll see the squirrel cage. Use a mirror and try to get a look around down in there for any foreign objects at the blower intake.
I had the same thing happen in my corsica. Sucked a sheet of paper out of the glove box (my wife apparently thinks there'* some type of competition to see how much crap you can put in there). It sounded like a bicycle with a card in the spokes (geesh, am I old or what)
Anyway, if there is a cabin filter, where is it?
