I do not beleive it sits too high, but I will measure from the ground level to the bottom of the bumper, as well as front measurement. The car is a 2000 SSEi with 98,000 miles.

How about the sway bar end links. Those would be the next thing I would think of to look at.

You have to find the source of that leak, it sounds as if the compressor is barely able to keep up. Try some leaktec or a soapy solution to look for air leaks. Or the Automatic Level Control height sensor is in need of adjustment.

5 5s, sounds like you have a different issue than scotishguy'*. I had a problem similar to yours when I first bought the car. It had virtually new Goodyear RSAs, that in my opinion are terrible in snowy weather. Once I got rid of those (very quickly) and got a 4 wheel alignment, the problem went away.

Default Washboard dangerous ride when temp is 20 - 30 degrees

I've read the previous threads and wondered if anyone found the solution? My 2001 SLE started this a couple weeks ago when the weather was cold, but I had just changed oil on ramps and cranked engine to make sure there was no leaks. The next morning the car was undriveable, I assumed the ride leveler tried to level the car when it was on the ramps. After I drove the car a ways it got okay. The tires on the car were pretty worn out so when it did it again yesterday on the way to get new tires, I assumed it could be a bead broke in the tires, and after the new tires were put on the car road just fine. Then this morning when it was 23 degrees it did the same thing again. Anyone figured this one out? I will look at the leveler switch in the mean time, is ther a way to release the air after the car has been on a lift on ramps?
