Default Blinker feels like working when it wants to

Ok,

So I've been having this weird dilemma for the past two days or so. For some reason, my blinker half the time wants to blink, and half the time wants to stay steady. About a week ago my friend and I replaced the bad blinker bulb that was destroyed in the tail light, which fixed my blinker. However, now last night I was driving normally, and my blinker was working... then when I went to go to Chilies, my blinker was a steady green. When I went out to check my car, it was blnking again.

Today, my blinker worked normally up until I got to work, then it was a steady green. Then, when I went back out to my car to go home, it worked normally up until I turned onto my street, where again it was a steady green. What could cause this?

Well, when I did some maintenance to my car, we figured out why the blinker just refused to flash period. There were two bulbs that were out [I'm not sure which one specifically caused the light to go out, I find it odd that both would break the same day. The first is my tracker signal or whatever the corner bulb that isn't the blinker. The second one was in the rear headlight, when we figured out which one it was, we took the bulb out, and to our surprise the entire glass was shattered everywhere in the light. No idea on how that happened, it didn't break when we moved it. There'* a crack in my back tailight, however I don't remember if the cracks in the same area or not.

Regardless, the glass was shattered. We removed the bulbs, purchased the appropriate ones, and my signal worked again... until now with the problem listed in the first post.
