I am almost certain what this is based on reading other posts...what I haven't heard is approx how much the labor would be for a person to bring it into a shop to have the axle replaced?

Thanks Oats...so to recap for those with this lovely condition and who don't have the where-with-all to do it on their own...parts anywhere from $65 to $200 and then another $50-$75 for a total of approx $115 to $275. Looks like another drive to the shop at least after I get the body work done from hittin a gal on a cell phone that ran a stop sign in a Dodge truck (damn cell phones!!). That makes three for three...three different Bonne'* all involved in accidents since July '06. I don't think the curse is just on the White Bones!!
