AC Problem

The AC in my 2000 SSEi is not blowing cold air on the drivers side, it is blowing very cold air on the passengers side, I read some other posts and checked the drivers side air actuator valve, pulled it out and made sure it was functioning, everything seems to be in working order so I put 2 cans of R134a into the low side, and the passenger air just got colder while the drivers side stayed the same. When I play with the heating controls, and take the system up to 90, both sides get hot, but when I go back down to 60, only the passenger side goes down that low. I hooked up pressure gauges to both the low and high side and the readings were, for the low side about 25psi, and the high side was between 25-26 psi, I guess this is telling me I don't have a charge on the system, but after 2 cans of r134a I don't know what to do. If anyone can help as to what this is telling me, and how to fix this problem, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Carl.

Would the air mix door not opening have that effect on the pressure in the system though? Just wondering if there'* a bigger problem at hand.
There are some posts on the forum that indicate it'* a charge problem.
Don't wna tto hijack the thread- but when you hook up your A/C gauges, do you open both high and low pressure valves to read the system, or open them one at a time to read the pressures.
Good luck with your A/C

I have this same problem. Just so I understand, Why would a charge effect having cold air on pass vents, but not drivers? I would think the system would have the same temperature out of both sides with a low charge. Is there something electronic that makes this happen? If any one knows I would be very grateful Thanks!
