Hey all. On my way home for lunch the AC fan ran like normal. On the way back, it started making a very loud hum. Any idea why? It increases and decreases in volume with the fan speed setting.

WTF? Only had the car six months and I did change the cabin air filter about two months ago...

Did it ice up on you? did you notice any fluid on the ground when you drove away?

Nope, no ice. It blows air fine, cold. Just makes a BIG racket!

I spoke to the dealer and they said that sometimes with our cars, insulation can come loose and lodge itself in the fan, causing it to hum.

Gonna have it fixed on Wednesday. I hope I do not need a new fan...

Get this, it was a Subway meal card that got sucked up by the fan! $90 later, I am back in business.

But now, the day after I get her back from the shop, my right rear window regulator dies! Stuck in the down position. So, tomorrow I have an appointment to get THAT fixed. Gonna be about $400. I was gonna get a DHP PCM but that is no out the window, literally...

I am so pissed!
