I had rear rotors on 03 that warped. I could use emergency brake at low speed on smooth asphalt and feel the uneven braking. Dealer turned them both under warranty before 36K mi. I'd rather have put on good Raybestos rotors nad been done with it forever. Now I'll have to replace them eventually because they are even thinner than they were due to the turning.

It sounds like you may be experiencing excessive run-out. How many miles are on your front rotors? Are they oem? If they are oem, don't waste time having them machined. Get new good quality rotors & pads. ABS won't engage unless wheel slip detected. Here'* a few specs on the rotors if you were to have them refinished.
Front brake rotor minimum allowable thickness after refinishing (1.224")
Rear brake rotor minimum (0.423")
Front rotor discard (1.200")
Rear rotor discard (0.374")
