Default 2000 SLE, car died while idle, trouble restarting

So, I just had the PCM and Vacuum harness replaced by GM. Today, my car died while idling at my daughter'* school. It then would crank, but not start. After 5 or so minutes of trying, it finally started up and drove home just fine.

I used to have a '95 Bonneville, and had a similar problem, which ended up being the crank sensor. Would that be the same issue I'm having in this car?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds about right. If it dies again check if you have spark.

Cam, crank and MAF are the first three I would check.

Mine performed similarly. Died while at idle and later while at highway speeds. It turned out to be the fuel pump connection in the trunk (at the pump). Ran a new wire with new terminals and the problem was solved.

This was diagnosed by a professional. Took him about 8 hours to finally find it with his voltmeter.
