2 Reflectors on doors?

Unless my bulbs are blown, my doors have just reflectors as well. Both lenses are red on mine and none of them light up... Was this some type of convenience option?

No, not an option in 2000 but maybe they were discontinued in 2001 to save $5.
My long lighted ones are opaque white.

My wife'* '01 SE has only red reflectors in the doors(one round and one longer and narrow),.....I think the SLE'* and the SSEI'* all have a red reflector And the clear,functional exit/entry light,.......my '00 SSEi does have the light and the red reflector in each door.Very sad that the '05 GXP'* Don't have the courtesy lights in each door........Good job,GM....you chopped off $5 per door in your cost-cutting efforts to keep your Division solvent........

My '01 SSEi only has the red reflectors. No lights...

$35k for a GXP, you get ripped off on the interior (IMO) and u don't get lights in the doors?

I checked mine this morning....I have the puddle lights and reflectors on all 4 doors.

Checked earlier -- my early model year '00 SSEi has four clear lens that illuminiate in all doors.
