Default 2 Reflectors on doors?

This is weird... it seems that my car has 2 reflectors on each door, as opposed to a "light" and a reflector. Is this the way that other folk'* Bonnevilles are too?

Both of our 2000 Bonnevilles have a light in the door. Not two reflectors. Looks like pontiac decided to get cheap and no longer use the lights.

I meant all 4 of the doors have the lights in them on our Bonneville'*. THe lights are there not so others can see you, but they're made to light up the ground so you can see it at night before getting out.

Both on all my doors are reflectors only. More cost cutting measures from pontiac with no savings passed on to the customer.

That is shocking.
The member who posted the original message has an SE model so I thought only the more upscale SSEi'* had it as an option.....but I fully expected that a new 05 GXP would have the lights also. What a disappointment.
Shame on GM.
