if you're insulting his bonnie for that, you'd better stay away from just about every tranny on the market... most are incredibly similar to that, if not thinner...

I'm with you on that one.... These 4T60-E'* hold up incredibly well for what people put them through and the amount of weight they are designed to move... These transmissions are designd to move around 6000-6500 Lbs totall... Thats not bad for a 60 series FWD trans... I'm sure if they were built better, they could move wmore weight, but what would be the point of that when we have trucks for towing...

Take into account the 4T60-E was also attached to the 300ci 4.9 Caddilliac V8 and moved a 3800-3900 Lb car around, amazing how many of those 92-93-94-95 models are still on the road
