Will this winter ever end???
My goal was to get this back on the road as soon as the winter tire law expired (15th march)... I think patience will still be needed....

Martin in your previous post, back in December, I noticed you talking about storing Bonneville outside for the winter. https://www.gmforum.com/1992-1999-91...season-306181/
Did you put stabilizer in the fuel & fill the tank before storing it outside?
Have you charged the battery since December? Or did u remove the battery and charge it inside?

Yes to all. Washed it over and under too. Only thing I didn't do is put a deseccant in the car, but oh well...
I know it may be hard to watch a perferctly good running Bonneville in this condition... but the other option was to junk it, so it'* really not that bad!
We're not making a lot of money right now, only emotions and attachment keep this car registered!

Well, I bought two nicely used tires for the front. I presently have three kinds on the car, with two different ones in the front. One leaks, the other is almost worn to the steel wiring.
I will keep burning used tires until I sell or scrap the car or until I change the steering rack : Ongoing idea since 2 years which I absolutely never have the actual time or appropirate weather to do.
I so don't know what to do with it : I like it, it'* cool, unusual, fun to drive, stable, reliable, very easy to work on, the hardware (bolts and nuts) is solid and rarely strips or breaks and the car'* trim itself is pretty rare. But it'* also fees to keep running. But it'* pretty useful to have a 3rd car when you do all your mechanics yourself...
I don't want to scrap it, I don't want to sell it for nothing and I don't want to sell it to someone unexperimented with mechanics because it would be quite mean. It still is an old car with lots of features.
On the other hand, even 2-3 year old cars are effin' expensive and have nothing cool to offer.
I work full time while finishing health science classes to try to qualify for a doctor'* doctorate degree : I probably won't have time to play with cars forever. All of this with no help from my parents or my gf'* parents, so money is quite an issue.
