Default Will someone please help me with my brake light?

Hello fellow H-body enthusiats,
I am hoping that you may be able to help me with a problem that occured today.
I started the car after work, and the emergency brake like came on and stayed on for two minutes. Then it kept flashing.
Half-way home, I stopped at a parking lot. I shut off the car, restarted the car, applied and released the parking brake. The light kept flashing intermitently. Brakes worked fine.

The thing is, I never use the emergency brake.

By the way, it rained heavily today so my car got soaked while I was at work.

Thanks for any and all your help.
Sincerely,
Sachin Sam Shah

It'* probably an ABS Wheel Sensor. Unfortunately you will still have to
pull the ABS error codes to find out which one of the four has failed. Be
fore warned that some ABS Wheel Sensors come only with the entire Hub
Bearing. You might only need a Jumper Wire Replacement too if only the wire
was damaged near the Sensor. All of the above WILL cause the Brake Warning
Light to come on. The Brake Warning Light works in conjunction with the
Regular Brake System, the Parking Brake System & the ABS Brake System BTW.
The "Flashing" of the brake light might be flashing a code but, I'm not
sure.

Are we talking about the "Brake" light on the dashboard, or the "ABS" light on the dashboard?

Dear H- Body enthusiasts,
It was the parking brake light that came on, not the ABS light. The shop that I get my work done took a look at it and found that the master cylinder was leaking. Where I don't know, but every time the brakes were applied it sqirted some out. THis made the fluid low. The sensor would flash any time the fluid reached a certain level, ergo if I turned or accelerated, or stopped, as soon as the fluid covered the sensor the light whent off.
I have been quoted a price of $399 with tax to install a brand new one and bleed the brakes.

As it stands, I don't know if I will have this done. It won't be done any time soon as next week we are going on vacation.

That much dough into car that isn't worth that much (1700-2000)-it is not cost effective.

Thanks for all your help.
