Default Where can i get an Oil Pump Pickup??

Well i found the problem with my low oil pressure is i have a cracked pickup tube. When i would start the car cold the oil was thicker thus with would sort of seal the crack then when it got warmer it wouldn't seal the crack the oil pressure would go down the crapper so when the oil pan was his it pushed up the oil pickup thus cracking it at the top. so now i need a new one anyone know where i can get one cheap?

Junkyard. Check Car-part.com for engine or engine block and look through the listings. Usually toward the end of the listings you will see several listed with no price as core. Lots of times, the yard will be willing to scavenge cores for individual parts.

All that said, I'd bet the part isn't too expensive from the dealer. Dealers never cease to amaze me with how much they charge, but really, how much can a tube and strainer be?
