thats why i asked i didnt see the D...what is my final drive ratio then??????? or do i hve to go look at the rpo codes?

Its the RPO code for each tranny, followed by the tranny name, followed by gear ratios in each gear on all Bonnevilles.

This is why I thought I had a heavy duty trans:

1991? - 1993? - 4T60-E HD - Same as 4T60-E except with a few heavy duty
parts (mainly final drive gearset) for supercharged 3.8l V-6 application.

That there is a heavy duty version of the M13....4T60-E... I don't think there is any diffrence in the clutches and bands... The only diffrence I know of is the gear set is etronger to handle the abuse of the SC'd 3800'*... 260 ft lbs - 280 ft lbs... Also this transmission was used behind the caddy 4.9L V8...

If there is no heavy duty trans, than I need to send my 4T60-E to Bill and see how long it takes him to destroy it...

Like I said earlier! There was no HD version used in a Bonneville! Now the Caddy is a different story mind you.
