Default What size?

I am trying to take off the middle section of the vent system behind the ashtray closest to the floor. I don't seem to have the right size socket/wrench to get it off...

Does anyone know what size it is?

If you're wondering why I'm taking it off... there is something rolling around up there and it'* driving me CRAZY!!!

Can you be a little more specific as to what you are trying to remove. Most of the stuff in our cars is either a 7mm or 5.5mm for small hex head screws.

I guess it would be a diffuser right in the middle of the car behind the ashtray. It looks like it'* a secondary part of the ducting.
