What size?

I am trying to take off the middle section of the vent system behind the ashtray closest to the floor. I don't seem to have the right size socket/wrench to get it off...

Does anyone know what size it is?

If you're wondering why I'm taking it off... there is something rolling around up there and it's driving me CRAZY!!!

Can you be a little more specific as to what you are trying to remove. Most of the stuff in our cars is either a 7mm or 5.5mm for small hex head screws.

I guess it would be a diffuser right in the middle of the car behind the ashtray. It looks like it's a secondary part of the ducting.
