Default Waunted picture of 3800 III aluminum manifold.

Can anyone come up with a picture of a 3800 III N/A motor with the dust cover off?? It would be nice to see a picture of the new series III aluminum upper intake manifold.
You would think this is some kind of government secret the way the Dealership acts.

Hell, I haven't even SEEN the Series III personally yet. Something I need to go do. You wondering if it'll bolt up?

If it bolts up that would be so sweet for L36 owners

I seriously doubt that would be an issue. The 87-91 and first half of 92 had aluminum intakes with no deterioration problems with regards to gaskets.

Default Manifold

Looked at a 2004 Grand Prix on the showroom floor, with the cover still in place, from the PCV valve end it looks like the series II manifold except aluminum. The dealer had a 2004 Regal next to the Grand Prix and it made it easy to compare the two motors. The injectors and the throttle body look different but that is all I could see with the cover still covering the manifold.
If GM did not change the bolt spacing on the upper manifold there may be a chance to adapt it to a 3800 II (L36).
I f anyone has a 3800 III motor or has a friend with one please take a picture and post it.
