i have a 93 bonneville SE and i was starting to tear into exchanging the waterpump and i got stuck when i couldnt get the motor mount outta the way so i'm looking for some help

how much would the average shop get to do this i was quoted by a shop and thought they were a bit high

Remove the bolt holding the knuckle of the mount through the cradle (running front to rear of the car, big long bolt and nut).

Put a block of wood (wide and long, like a piece of 2x6 MINIMUM) on the jack, and use that to distribute the load while you jack the motor up by the oil pan until you can slide the mount off the motor (or slide it back far enough to be able to swap the pump).
