On the L36 Powered Bonneville you do not have to remove the torque axis mount.... The L27 was a bit of a pain in that area... But on the L27 the Belt was easly replaced...

You will simply break the water pump pulley bolts loose, remove the belt, remove the water pump pulley bolts...

Then you will remove the 2 bolts from the power steering pump, 1/2" I think... Push the PS pump out of the way being careful not to hit the oil pressure sending unit...

Remove the bolts from the water pump, pull the water pump, clean the mating surface, install the new pump and gasket...

Then do everything else in reverse order...

The L36 is a very easy engine to change a water pump on..

just as a heads up, in case you didn't notice it - the two bolts you need to free up to move the p/* pump are located at 12 and 6 o clock behind the p/* pump pulley.

easy job, just take your time cleaning off the old gasket material.
