The power steering dipstick is built into the PS reservoir cap. The PS fluid is about the same color as the dipstick, though, so you'll need a fair amount of light. (Could it have killed GM to make the cap/dipstick white?)

Depending on the engine temperature, make sure that it'* up to the FULL COLD or FULL HOT mark.

It'* definitely low on power steering fluid, it didn't even reach the "Add" mark. I'll top it off and let you know what happens.

Nope, with fluid topped up I'm getting the same symptoms. I'm thinking about buying a new IAC because I hear they can wear out and possibly not react fast enough to changes in power demand while idling.
