i was driving the other day my service engine light kept flashing on and off at times and the car was stalling at the lights, plus it was shifting really really wierd..anyone have a clue as to what this problem may be....

I had this problem too.

It was my exhaust system - the Cat converter was stopped up.

I would also suspect the ignition module / coil pack
