Default Trannsmission Problems

I have a 1994 Bonneville with 244 k on it. I changed the trany filter and fuid about 2000 miles ago. The fluid did not look bad and did not have a burnt smell. For the last few weeks after coming to a full stop the trany seems to disengage. If I slowly give it some gas and hold the brake so it doesn't lerch into gear it will go back into drive. It seems like its going into nutrul or something. The things i have checked. Harnness going into trany, vacum madual and lines are good and shift leaver. Everything else works great shifts fine and runs great in all speeds, just when coming to a stop its like it just goes into nutral and then if i wait 5 or 6 secounds it goes into drive. :?:

Go to a reputable transmission shop and get a diagnosis. Your trans has made it WAY beyond the typical lifetime.

It'* time.
