So I was bored today, and as a lot of you know that I and a few other members have had a HUGE issue with really rough and lumpy idles.
Today I was out smoking a ciggerette, and it was nice out and heard the tool chest calling my name. So I decided that since the last thing I can try and to to fix it before I'm out of ideas was the ICM plate. So I swapped that out, and magically my idle is now a 1/3 as bad as it was.....Changing that out helped a lot...the idle is still there but not NEAR as bad as it was.....
So I guess that'* a start to conquering this ****.

Keeping good ground contact between the bottom of the ICM and the mounting bracket is a critical troubleshooting step in the FSM'* for ignition problems. One of the first things to check. Reassemble with dielectric grease.
Although I don't have any problems, I still intend to pull mine apart, clean it, and put it back together just for a general maintenance thing. Jseabert had a minor miss issue on his 93 SSE a couple years ago. I fixed it by cleaning the corrosion on the adapter and reinstalling the ICM.

Ya I cleaned everything up under there, but still wasn't a 100% cure to the problem. I think it'* a good start though.
