You can see the fill line? How many bottles did you put in? Each bottle equals 1 Quart. That could be bad if you put in too much, you can drain it the sameway you change the oil.

yeah its bad.

You can either start a syphon (sp?) and suck it out the dip stick tube or you need to open up your plug and then close it after it drains a little.

IF the oil level is too high then the crank will slosh around ( rotate in) the oil and "airate" it. Now all of your oil has lots of bubbles in it. Which is not very good for obvious reasons.

I dont think he meant he can see the fill line in the valve cover hole but rather on the dipstick. If you put more than 5 quarts then I would drain some but if its just 5 quarts exact, then I wouldnt worry about it.

yeah, i dont mean that i can see it in the valve cover, i mean that the dipstick reads about 1/2 to 1 inch if that over the full line....thats all....but is that still bad?

I guess its bad but I think my car has a little more than 5 quarts in it right now and its been running the same, well at least until the transmission went out but thats another story. I think you'll be alright just dont go running any cross country marathons with no breaks.

On top of this....It could create too much oil pressure and blow out rear main seals.....Has happened to a friend of mine.....Sounds like you're a quart over.....Just drain a lil and you'll be A O K
