Back on topic... If the alternator is anything like the Series 1, its super easy.

Remove the belt from the alt
Remove the cable running from the alt to the battery.
Remove the alternator bracket plus the other bolt.
Lift.

and i'm replacing the alternator.

Which way do I turn the bolt to release the tensioner from the block? Can anyone see this? Am I posting correctly?

Yep..you are posting fine.

The tensioner pulley bolts are reverse thread (both sc and accessory belts) all the other pulley bolts are regular thread.
