As much as I am not a fan of the Fords, I can relate to ya being a teenager. I'm only 17, and I have little money. That is acutally one of the better cars out there that teens drive. The majority of them are Tempos and other junkers. I think it'* a good choice, even if it is not a Bonnie, because teens can only get what is cheap.

I got my Bonnie for $1000, but it was busted. I couldn't have gotten the car if it was in full working condition.

Thanks sol..your so understanding, lol. Everyone else has like bonneville etched on their foreheads lol. Guys, I love bonneville'*..i guarantee i'll own another one sooner or later, but now i wanna have a convertable..its like a dream come true from when i was younger. A convertable mustang Look on the bright side, its not a honda civic. Its not a 4cyl. 105 hp racecar, lol.

My friend has a Sebring Convertible. The car sucks with power, but women just love it.

99BonnevilleSE ..does your car still have hub caps? ok.
HAHAHAHAH! That is funny my man. The first month I had the car I switched over to Enkei Rims. The picture on Bonneville Club forum is really really old. I will see if I can take a pic today of my car. The pic on the forum is when it was completly stock so I had a reference.

As for your choice, getting a V6 Stang.... eh.... who cares dude, chicks don't care. I get more chicks w/ my black w/ black tint and the rims Bonneville that I did with a few of my other cars. It sleek and stylish and it always turns heads w/ the intake/exhaust.

Performance wise, the 3.8L in the Mustang sucks so much. I know a guy who has the ATI Procharger supercharger, custom ported and polished heads, custom cam, custom exhaust and runs high 13'* (its a stick). That is sad for that much money. A L36 Bonneville is going to have more comfort, plus the engine has potential later when you get out of high school to go faster. The heads flow better, better tranny and more stylish. You can pimp out a Bonneville more than a Mustang. Since we use McPherson struts, you can bag it if you wish. Mine eventually will be since we are bored. It'* up to you, but I understand that you are 16 and a Mustang Convertible is the way to go. But if you ever talk to performance guys.... you just have to let it go. It'* your choice. Either way, I can help you out (performance wise) for either the Mustang or the Bonneville. Good luck.

P.*. I am the only one who voted for the white stang for you so you can get your .

Look , the bonnie is more comfortable, luxurious, more features and cheaper for insurance! I'm not telling you to get the 8 , just don't get the 6 ! Your gonna be sorry in the future , it'll be harder to sell than the 8 ! Girls like anything with chrome and a TV ! And when you do wanna race someone and you lose , lose with style not with a race car the sucks !!! The stang does look nice but it'* just a NOW thing , you regret it as soon as you get out of high school ! The convertible is VERY noisey and is harder to clean ! Dude if I were you i'de ride the bike till I got a GTP !!! Now that'* a car worth giving up the bonnie for !

I went against the grain here, I voted Stang, cause by the sounds of it, your mind is already made up
You are young, and why not try out all the other wanna be cars....ive driven...not owned alot of different cars, and the bonnie has me now.......There is no doubt in my mind you will own another one...who knows, maybe you will own a whole fleet of them...giggle.
Have fun with the Stang. I personally would hold off and look for either a GP or a Bonnie, but you have more years than some of us here......and in three days, im getting so much more closer to 30....ahhhhh, not there yet, but its creepin up.

Just look at those Bonnies everytime you drive by one, and know its saying...."You know you want me!"

LOL
