the red circle in the pics is wherethe indicator or what not is on my tensioner





im pretty sure thats where my problem is but figured I'd double check with you guys thanks again

The indicator on the movable portion of the tensioner must be within the limits of the marks of the stationary portion of the tensioner. Any reading outside of these limits indicates either a defective belt or tensioner. According to my FSM, you want it centered. The top mark is maximum tension and bottom is minimum. Yours looks fine.

so the three little marks are all that matters not the big opening to the left
when i grab the belt I can move the tensioner and its real jerky sometimes it goes back between the marks sometimes just barely past the one on the left is this normal :?:

I'd slip the belt off, spray some PB Blaster or light oil into the tensioner & then move the tensioner back & forth. It might just need to get lossened up a bit.

Try tech Ted'* idea first, then if you continue to notice this, your tensioner just may be going.
