I've seen something like this on my 1993 SE. There is a spiral exit ramp in the parking garage at work. It goes uphill and turns 360 degrees to the right. If I drive up it with less than 1/4 tank of gas I will often stall within 20-30 feet after levelling off.

I always thought it was because of the incline but come to think of it the car doesn't usually stall on inclines so it's probably the combination of incline, centrifugal force, and low fuel.

I have a 92' SSE and I've experience this problem a few times also. Scared me at first but i realized that it was due to low fuel so i didn't worry about it. My solution to the problem is just keep more than 1/4 tank of gas in it. a lot less expensive then replacing everything. 8)

Keeping fuel above 1/4 keeps the fuel pump nice and happy on a car that does this or not.
