one caveat for the sunroof motor timing, to get it in the right spot hit the back button, the motor will start to run by itself. Let it run for a couple seconds and stop it. Now, hold the forward button till the motor stops by itself. It should look like the pic where the hole in the orange gear is lined up with the center of shafts. If it isn't rerun the just mentions process. Of course, do this with the motor off of the roof, disengaged from the track tranny.

here'* a pic of what drives the glass assembly


the same thing is in the copper tube at the bottom. the motor turns the gear which I assume turns a gear on the tranny housing, which pushes or pulls the springs. There is a black plastic tube covering the top on to the right, I have removed it to show you what actually moves the glass.
