What is it in the front end that gives it that sound like something is loose? I have been told that it is my struts, and there is no slop in the tie rods that I can detect.

Is it the shock rod rattling around in the shock assembly? I am afraid that if I just replace my strut cartridges that the "old taxi" front end noise will not go away.

I don't think it'* the end links. Those were replaced about a year ago because the driver'* side bolt was broken. I got the tires rotated, and while it was on the lift I wiggled the tires back and forth top/bottom and side/side. I also pushed up on it. Everything seemed pretty tight.
