JR - I was also thinking of reusing the factory nuts. When we do the other side tonight I’ll take some measurements so we know exactly how far the nut should go on.

Lash – We went with the Sensa-Tracs front & rear. We were going to use the reflex in the back but we’re already over budget. Advance gave us 10% off. New York State tax put 8% on. The total was $302. After the rebate it’ll work out to just over $60 per strut.

We really had no problem disassembling the strut assembly. You can tell there’* a lot of pressure on the spring compressors. We borrowed them from Advance & they worked great. If anyone is going to buy their own compressors I would highly recommend getting a quality set.

I bought the set that I have about 15 years ago, so I don't recall the exact cost, but I think it was about $20. I use it every time that I do struts.
