Default SSExi v3.75, the transmission

Took out the transmission today. Nice and easy.

Great big shop and what do I do, drop the transmission next to the wall.

The fluid dripped out when I pulled the torque converter. The dirt may have been there, I don't recall cleaning that area up real good when I was working on it.

Yes. Found a service bulletin about KR issues under slight load being caused by worn splines in the torque converter. So I'm going to swap in a stock TC and see if that corrects the problem. I've determined it'* not the engine. I'm also going to take a peek at the diff, simply because it'* right there and it'* no big deal to check it.

How do the pump shaft splines look when you look straight down on them? Any odd marks on the stator sprocket?
