You will need to throw a fair amount of money at it. Small pulleys, lots of mods, headers, cam, porting, etc.

Welding over the silencer ports

That'* what I did with mine, but that only changes it a bit.

I mainly deal with LT1 stuff like I said this is my first *\C 3800 but can someone send pics of this

I wouldn't spend the time to weld the silencer ports. Dan mentions it only helps a little bit.

A gutted air box and K&N or an FWI/CAI will make a big difference in the amount of whine you hear. But then you said you wanted a silent sleeper, things we suggest will make it louder.

I didn't take the vid...but here'* a quick one before it was fast or loud.
