http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ensor&start=20

crank sensor was replaced a year and half ago. I want to fix the cam sensor first and see if it will make the crank sensor issue go away.

I priced out a new cam sensor, $35

The magnet is in the hole and looks to be fine.

Talked with willwren.

Now thinking that that the sensor has failed. Going to replace the sensor and pray to god that it will fix the issues.

If not, I'm going to replace the crankshaft sensor (2nd time) and harmonic balancer.

Stay tuned...

Spud! John, sniff his *** and lick his cheek for me.

Don, I just gave him the same advice. Change the cam sensor. After that, he has a spare crank sensor and he'* on an OEM balancer. It'* another hundred to change the balancer that will go out within the year anyway. No loss there, either. After that, if the problem remains (keep in mind he'* running my 95'* ICM), we're going to have to chace a wiring problem or a possible PCM.

John'* replacing the cam sensor as we speak.

*UPDATE*

Replaced the CAM sensor with a new one. Been driving the car around for over half an hour, no crankshaft or camshaft codes. I THINK Gravenge is fixed

BIG THANK YOU to everyone that has helped me. I don't mean to beat a dead horse but I want to fix the problem and know what I am doing.

Now, everyone, before you go to bed tonight, say a little prayer for Gravenge please. It would be nice to not have any NEW problems in the near future.
