Tell us some more.

When did you change those wires and plugs? Before or after the rough running started?

Before this started happening, was there any other work you had done?

When you pulled the old plugs, do you remember what they looked like?

OK, and now for some quick advice (I still want your answers to the above questions and anything else you can tell us, BTW )

Carefully inspect every vacuum line and soft connector on your car, including those under your airbox into the evap. cannister. At the age of your car, if they haven't been replaced already, they are likely cracked, split, or broken. Even a small crack or split can cause problems. A damaged vacuum line can also cause trans issues.

How soon after the MAF sensor replacement did this start occuring?

And, like I said, check those vacuum lines. The inspection doesn't cost anything except your time and the repair, when needed, is very inexpensive also. Plus, if you truly eliminate the vacuum lines as a problem area, it makes it easier for us to continue with the diagnosis.

Did you replace that vac line? Because, that small vacuum leak alone can cause poor running...trust me.

How did you come to the conclusion that your problem is the TPS?

Not saying it isn't, just wanted to know your diagnosis method.
