Default Power Seats

Hi All. newbie here and I just bought a 94 SSEi

I was told by the former owner that the lumbar motors in the power seats need to be oiled once a year or else they wont work.

Have any of you gone through this and if so, is this just something that I have to live with or is there a permanent fix?

Thanks

there is no motor for the lumbar....its a small air compressor that is mounted on the underside of your passenger seat....mine will lock up from time to time....you have to dissamble it and clean it...

You could swap out the air compressor with a used one or look into a new one.

New I would suggest GMPartsDirect.com
Used... Hit the wanted section...one of us junkyard nuts can probably get you one in a week or two.
