Default my steering wheel bracket broke need ideas how 2 fix

yesterday the steering wheel just started to move around. i took it apart today and found that the bracket that holds it to the dash is glued to the mounting holes as if to break away in a accident. i would just replace it with the one in my parts car but it seems to be welded to column. my next option would be to glue it back together. anyone have ideas on what glue they use?
