Google "CCR strut" or something like that. GOOD LUCK! I've seen them occasionally, but they're damn hard to find, and forget the wrecker. You could buy them new ($300-600 if I recall at the CHEAPEST) and they could fail next month.

Most members that have working systems can't tell the difference. I rode shotgun in a 98SSEi from here, and couldn't tell myself. It'* not worth it.
i can def tell when going down a bumpy road at about 30mph... perfom is just that, and touring is just that...

Ugh.... visited the shop today where Knight Fire has been for the past 2.5 weeks.... ugh.... now it looks like her struts might be going... she'* kinda sitting low. Mechanic is going to do the bubbles test once he gets the engine put back together.... I'm going to hate to give up my CCR buttons.... but it looks like Reflex struts for me.

unless there are better ones since the time you made that webpage Bill....

I found the OEM replacement struts on GMPARTSDIRECT.COM These are the CCR struts, if you really want to retain that buggy feature! I know some of you may want to retain the original ones. I lost the part number, but punch the OEM strut part number into their search and they have them in stock.

They are listed for $288.50 each. This is just for one strut. My other strut is original and has 169,000 miles on it also.

Instead of replacing one of these, I'll just replace both struts with Monroe Reflex, add boot kits, adapter kit and bearing plates and the total for both sides is $289.14 with free shipping!!
