I talked to a smog tech at pontiac dealer he told me to make sure they the smog techs, take the traction control off before the roller test so it does'nt apply brakes.this puts drag on testings increasing combustion heat .If this doesn't work I have the AFC-2 coming in mail this week or put 92 throttle back on the 95blower and use lots of silicon. monday or tues I'll be back to smog again
has it occurred to you that the reason you failed is because you are running a smaller pulley and a highflow cat? The smaller pulley will DEFINATELY cause you to burn leaner and add to the mix that your cat is not as effective as the stock one. My opinion. When getting smog tested, switch back to the stock pulley and stock cat. Any exhaust shop SHOULD be able to weld in flanges for the cat, so you can go back and forth at your leisure.

Default passing smog

100octane didn't work, bypass valve adjust helped but not enough. The test doesn't put car in boost anyway. my next step is old 92 throttle body or wait on AFC-2 calibrator to add 110% fuel settings because it'* running too lean with larger throttle body.

Default almost passing smog

fuel filter helped get nox from 860ppm to 824 ppm .next try is colder plugs ACDELCO41932 will see if that drops the combustion temp to 785ppm limit. The HC went up to 11ppm from 5ppm still too lean, limit is 114PPM limit. I have 3 solenoid digital E.G.R. setup used on 92 engine and one solenoid not used ? I was going to hook up the non used solenoid to the brown wired solenoid to increase flow on E.G.R. to drop the nox reading ,think it will work? How about 2gal of methanol? AFC-2?

Default passed smog

passed results 255ppm from 841ppm nox. the limitis785ppm nox .The HC went up to 20ppm from 10ppm ,the AFC-2. adjusted at 111% or hooking up the 3rd unused digital solenoid on e.g.r. I connected the solenoid to the red wire on e.g.r. I'm going to pretest at the smog place to see what fix worked 1st.
