With a larger intake and stuff i wouldnt see why you wouldnt. You just need a clean enough burn i would assume. Lowering the temperature helps that too because you release less of one of the polutants.

There'* no way I'm going to instal the AFC2 air control before the smog test. another concern is cat.conveter, magnaflow muffler, the smog rip off is coming next week.

Nothing like waiting to the last few days to smog bonne. took car in for pre-test, tech says[ what for] these cars always pass smog.guess what it failed the nox-1101ppm limit is785ppm.the hc 2ppm limit 114ppm must be 95throttle body bypassing too much air.I going to try 100 octane fuel and back off bypass valve to delay boost . this will cool combustion to lower nox. I talked to a smog tech at pontiac dealer he told me to make sure they the smog techs, take the traction control off before the roller test so it does'nt apply brakes.this puts drag on testings increasing combustion heat .If this doesn't work I have the AFC-2 coming in mail this week or put 92 throttle back on the 95blower and use lots of silicon. monday or tues I'll be back to smog again

It'* $14 a pop here. My old car failed twice for minor stuff. One shop failed it for more stuff than the previous one. So I fixed the one problem Pepboys said it had and got it passed.
I know CT has very laid back laws about inspections too. I saw a car driving down there that was TOTALLED in the front. It was missing a hood and crunched pretty bad. Had no lights. (They also don't have to wear helmets on motorcycles)
