To avoid the 4 second deluge: Press and HOLD the washer spray button for about a second....the spray will end immediately after you release the button. Remember:Press and hold!

Default I Tried..

the press and hold,no dice it still keeps spraying SOMETIMES. Ok the pump seems to be mounted direct to the washer fluid resivour, where is the relay that keeps it pumping ? I figured if I bypass the regulator the switch will only be hot when pressing the button. Or is the relay part of the pump ?

One second may not be long enough. Try 2-3 seconds.

I remember askin this bout years back.. when BC.com was just a weenling..

Hopefully we can put our heads together and come up with something.. worse case scenario I was thinking was to actually mount a 2nd pump and 2nd set of nozzle that is heated in the engine bay or goes straight to the wiper arms.. and see what wires goes to the rear winshield.. stead of pushin you pull. ( thats how I think certain Bonnies with headlight washer fluid works ). I know this would probably be more time consuming and cost more then just finding a way to bypass it.
