Ok anyone else sick of how much washer fluid is used,man..
Well, I haven't had too big of a problem with too much fluid, but that'* cause I haven't driven my bonneville yet. I know that on the LTZ the fluid seems to be alright, it'* just the 6 passes the wipers make when I wash it when 3-4 would do. They end up bouncing cause it is so dry and making it not clear when they are done.
the pump works off a cam that activates when you hit the switch and you have to wait for the cam to go all the way around before it stops. Any chance of cutting the hot wire from the switch and hooking it to an aftermarket pump from NAPA
if you hit it real quick it runs 4 seconds which is too long,if you hit it again you have still dumped 4 seconds worth of fluid from hitting it the first time or am I missing something. It looks like the pump is mounted right to the resivour but where is the relay that is telling it to stay on so long ?
I don't care the cost so much but using over a gallon a week is kinda stupid when most normal cars don't have to dump tons of fluid at a time. This must be one of GM'* ideas. Also it seems as though you always run out 50 miles from home. Again its plain stupid that these cars have to dump out so much fluid, whats the sense of that ?? Just because something doesn't cost alot doesn't mean its ok to waste it.
