Default questionable bolt openings (w/pics)

are these suppost to have a bolt or something attached to them? I don't think they do but I am wanting to make sure. Maybe thay are for a factory option i don't have?

What do ya guys think?

Are those even bolt holes? It looks like those have core plugs in them. That'* your transaxle by the way, there really isn't anything that could bolt there. The cases on these things were used for years, so there may be extra bolt holes in a few places. I know when I replaced my 97 4T60E, it had a few unused drilled and tapped bolt holes on the right side extension housing, where the CV axle enters.

they are used to lift the trans out or in, basically a point to lift the trans with threaded bolt and a cherry picker

yea i would have to agree with 1997_LeSabre and 1993 SLE, my 95 has the same unused threaded holes, the intake looks great by the way
