Default oil pressure

Just out wondering what you guys are seeing for oil pressure, the lowest mine is when in gear idleing at operating temp is around 30, and when moving and crusing usually around 40-50 psi.

Mine is at 30 at a hot idle. I believe that'* normal. A/C, cold starts, and acceleration make it go up.

Mine normally stays around the 80psi mark under normal driving conditions. Stop and go driving and sitting at idle around 40-50psi. Still having an issue with the "check oil level light" coming on and stating on for 20-30secs. Oil level is full. Even on a cold start the oil pressure will go to the 80psi index.

The Oil Level Sensor is on the Oil Pan. Check the connector first.

DeathRat, Thanks for replying. Had the car in for an oil change last month and the guy doing the change mentioned it was a new sensor. I told him about the light coming on after engine start. He said the connection felt tight. The light comes on during start only. Good oil pressure, no leaks, ect. I am taking it in for service in the morning and while it is up on the rack I may just have them change the sensor inside the pan.
