I've have the same problem with the security light. It doesn't seem to affect anything, so any point to fix?
I also had the security come up when I try to start the car, and I'd have to wait for a few minutes. That was 10 years ago, I fixed that issue buy getting a remote starter, which bypasses the security crap.

I have the same problem, my security light is on, Has been for about 6 months, I have sprayed the key cylinder, cleaned the key, changed fuses and relays.....
Dont think I am going to tackle the rewiring. Maybe I will just leave it on.....
Can anyone help us out.....Will it hurt anything leaving the light on, and not chasing down the problem, and correcting it?????????
